Built by Sun Shipyard for Waterman Steamship Corp, cargo ship " Keystone Mariner" has displacement of 21,250 tons; length oa 563 ft, beam 76 ft, and designed speed 20 knots; main propulsion unit is cross compound double reduction geared turbine, which drives 220-ft 3-bladed propeller; steam is derived from installation yielding 600 psig at 865 F; built for quick conversion in war time.
