Mobile is reached through channel having navigable depth of 30 ft. at lowest tide; cotton ware-house is 900 ft. long by 230 ft. wide divided into 5 storage compartments, compress room, sorting room, receiving shed; piers A, B, and C, each 1600 ft. long are concrete decks built on concrete piles; complete flour reconditioning, mixing, and blending plant is located in one of warehouses on pier; tractors and trailers are provided for handling freight in warehouses; locomotive crane of 40-ton capacity; bulk materials-handling plant.
