Accurate records make it possible to locate causes of defects and so to prevent their recurrence; forms discussed are used on property operating some 75 buses; accessible supply of standard repair parts; modern and ample shop facilities; inspection, lubrication, and overhaul schedules; equipment card for each bus on which is recorded all important repairs and changes in equipment; curves to show gasoline and oil mileage and total maintenance for each group of buses.
