On Nov 30 1934, London and North-Eastern Railway ran experimental trains between London and Leeds at speeds which challenged those attained by Flying Hamburger; engine used was one of Gresley's early 3-cyl Pacifics; copies of station-by-station records taken from dynamometer charts; shorter, summarized tables, giving all essential particulars, also presented.
