Comment on tests by T. H. KRUTTSCHNITT, on motor truck in California and later test on rail motor car as indexed in Engineering Index 1933 p 915 from Western Gas Dec 1933; special equipment is required, but expense of converting truck unit is comparatively small; characteristics of Bu-Gas, liquefied bydrocarbon consisting largely of butane; operating results indicate savings of 30 to 45% as compared with trucks using gasoline.
