Results of trial trip of Coronado; designed to carry 50 automobiles; length o.a. 190 ft., molded depth 14 ft. 09 in.; propeller at either end is driven by 750-s.hp. at 500-volt single-armature shunt-wound d. c. motor, with pedestal-type bearings and operates at between 150 and 180 r.p.m.; power to operate propulsion motor is supplied by two 310-kw. 250-volt generators; built by Moore Dry Dock Co.
