New type of crane supplied by Alex. Chaplin and Co. to Burns and Laird Lines, to be used for cargo purposes for that Company's Belfast steamers at Broomielaw Wharf; each crane is capable of handling loads of 5 tons at 39 ft. 6 in. radius, and is arranged with jenny which traverses load to center of quay.
