Description of original Bellanca tandem monoplane powered with two Pratt and Whitney Wasp engines installed back-to-back; forward propeller is coupled to forward engine and rear propeller of pusher type is driven by shaft passing through fuselage or cabin structure; tail surfaces attached by means of outriggers to wings; purpose of design is to provide multiengined airplane retaining efficiency and maneuverability of single-engined craft; wing span 83 ft. 2 in.; cylindrical cowling with openings in front and rear end; wing bracing strongly resembles that of Roma plane.
