Description of Model P-6 Hawk, a development of standard Hawk, which, with exception of tapered Hawk biplane wings, has new characteristics; increased performance has been obtained by use of Curtiss Conqueror engine, developed from Curtiss D-12 power plant; wing loading 12.52 lb. per sq. ft.; wing span 31 ft. 6 in.; extensive reductions in weight and head resistance have been obtained by use of Prestone chemical liquid cooling; 181 m.p.h. top speed; stalling speed 61-3 m.p.h.; chrome-molybdenum-steel fuselage.
