Mining exploration company in Canada, within 9 months after organization, had flown 100,000 mi. over North Country without single air casualty; advantages of airplane over old exploration methods; uses of aircraft for transportation, communication and supervision, aerial photography, sketching and reconnaissance; data on costs; total flying in mining transportation and exploration in Canada for 1928 was 630,000 mi. with no casualties to prospectors and no loss of supplies.
