Harland and Wolff have completed at Belfast shipyard steamer San Pedro, last of six ships built for Compagnie Generate Transatlantique; length b. p. 430 ft.; beam, 57 ft.; depth molded, 37 ft. 6 in.; gross tonnage, 5990, service speed 13 1/2 knots; exhaust turbine of Bauer Wach type is incorporated with main engine; propelling machinery comprises 4-cylinder, triple-expansion engine 31, 50, 60 and 60-in. bore with stroke of 60 in.; will develop 4600 i.h.p.
