Terminal was constructed to handle wide variations of kinds of freight encountered in general freight hauling; everything from canned goods and automobile parts to large machinery and structural steel is to be loaded; machinery and methods must be sufficiently flexible to permit operations at lowest possible cost when transporting boxes of soap one hour and bridge girders the next.
