Present port facilities; in order to promote more efficient handling of freight through port, Chesapeake and Ohio is planning construction of modern import and export merchandise terminal consisting of single-deck covered pier and warehouse, freight yard, and necessary cargo-handling machinery; pier is to be 1200 ft. long and 300 ft. wide having 30 ft. apron on each side; it will be of steel and concrete construction throughout.
