Magneto compass plus turn compensator described has proved, in exhaustive flight tests, to constitute thoroughly reliable and satisfactory direction system for aircraft; glance at single instrument tells pilot all that he would be able to deduce from simultaneous observation of turn indicator and compass free from northerly turning error, namely, what to do to approach and hold chosen course without oversteering.
