Results, obtained by National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, of study of accelerations or applied load factors experienced by airplanes flying through "rough" air; structure of atmosphere in relation to load-factor problem and acceleration data obtained on number of flights with various airplanes are presented and analyzed.
