Experimental facilities are described for measuring roadway tracking performance under conditions of continuous mechanical interference in tracking mechanism during which extrahoropteral stereo-visual clues are provided; these clues could serve to enable operator to compensate for interference; data from two trained subjects are presented in terms of specially derived performance index formula.
