Term aeroelasticity covers phenomena in which three types of forces are acting on airframe, influencing its behavior; they are aerodynamic, inertia, and elastic forces; problems of static aeroelasticity and philosophy of solution employed; mathematical relations, structural, and aerodynamic simulation are discussed; details of computer design which incorporates control console, static elastic section, and aerodynamic section; results of symmetrical static aeroelastic analysis obtained from computer are presented.
