Study was intended to be general exploration of effect on pilot ratings and optimum longitudinal control sensitivity, of large variations in relative amplitude and phase of basic airplane responses which occur when true speed and lift angle of attack are changed; optimum control gain data are presented and discussed in terms of stick displacement; pilot rating data and summary of conclusions.
