New design to be manufactured as auxiliary engines for three motor-driven cargo liners under construction for New England Shipping Co.; these engines will each have output of 450 b.hp. at speed of 270 r.p. m. or 500 b.hp. at 300 r.p.m.; they will drive direct-current dynamos and each engine will consist of five cylinders.
