Performance potential of liquid hydrogen fueled commercial transport operating in 1985-2000 time period is examined; mission analyses and design studies indicate 200 passenger, Mach 6 cruise, 5000 nautical mi range is reasonable compromise between economics, technology, and passenger appeal; crucial factor is cost of liquid hydrogen fuel.
