Twin screw vessel of 918 tons gross was built by Henry Robb Ltd, is on delivery voyage to Commissioners for Port of Calcutta, and will undertake survey work in Hooghly River and area bounded by Diamond Harbour in north and by Sand Heads pilot station in south; length oa 200 ft 6 in., molded breadth 35 ft, molded depth 17 ft, maximum draft 12 ft; two Yarrow three-drum water tube boilers supply steam to pair of size 5.2 Christiansen and Meyer enclosed double-compound engines.
