Work was carried out in 3 stages; first one was devoted to study of human endurance limits to prolonged accelerations acting in back-chest direction at 65° angle to longitudinal body axis; second stage consisted of study of various means of raising man's resistance to transverse accelerations; results of experiments determined third stage of investigations, in which resistance to accelerations with respect to time was examined under optimum conditions. Translation from paper presented at XV International Astronautical Congress, Warsaw, Sept 7-12 1964.
