In study, constant density, constant transport properties, and arbitrary Schmidt number Sc are assumed; solutions are obtained as series in terms of parameter m proportional to momentum flux difference of two streams; concentration profiles are presented up to terms of order m; approximation is satisfactory for initial velocity ratio of about 0.5 when Sc is of order one and is better or worse for low or high values of Sc; it is found that favorable pressure gradients improve diffusion process; adverse gradients act in opposite manner.
