Study of effect of regular maintenance of engine components on level of exhaust emission; steps taken to translate adjustment trends discussed in paper, indexed in Engineering Index 1959 p 109, into specific carburetor and ignition settings necessary to maintain exhaust emissions at or below California Standards; 100 adjustment packages for Chrysler 318-cu in. engine will be used to obtain further data on feasibility of approach.
