FM telemetry is still tied to IRIG (Inter-Range Instrumentation Group) standards, which cover group of 18 channels with plus or minus 7.5% deviation and deviation ratio of 5; at present, equipment is available or being developed for operation up to 300 kc; how standard channels might be extended to 300 kc is shown in table; possible future development trends; reference made to advanced PCM equipment used in station developed for NASA's world-wide manned spacecraft tracking range and for Gemini.
