Notes on 1963 Eurospace report, Proposals for European Space Programme, which contained recommendations regarding scope of program and level of spending; course for development chosen by Eurospace is directed towards manned vehicle which can be injected into orbit and recovered by normal landing at predetermined site; initial role would be in logistic support and possible initial establishment of space stations, while secondary roles are servicing and inspection of satellites in orbit, and acquisition of scientific data; propulsion to meet total velocity requirement including aerodynamic and gravity losses, of 30,000 fps is expected to be by LOX/H2 booster system.
