Use of computer for analyzing data recorded at sea is mentioned; it is suggested that measured results can be transferred to paper-tape or punched cards; in future measured values will be directly recorded on punched cards, coded tape or by similar method; next step is to abandon form system; each engine is given code number, which corresponds to number on strip containing information on motors performance on trials and on test bed, and propeller analysis from trial trip; data sheets are reproduced and program sequence is explained.
