Imperfections in earth's shape cause many variations in orbital elements defining shape, size, and orientation of artificial satellite orbit; paper considers variations of right ascension of ascending node and application of unusual orbits that result from them; investigation of most suitable types of orbit for certain satellite programs, namely, orbits which follow stars, orbits which follow earth, orbits which follow sun, and orbits which follow moon.
