Terminal phase is analyzed to determine optimum aiming point for ascent trajectory of maneuverable satellite and optimum steering program for guiding satellite to rendezvous with its target, once target is acquired with on-board active sensor; aiming point where rendezvous maneuver should be initiated is described; optimum steering control program for control of thrust vector relative to line of sight vector is developed for guiding interceptor to rendezvous.
