In analyzing recovery support required, considerations must range from space mechanics and re-entry dynamics involved to operations associated with location and retrieval of spacecraft and crew at mission's termination; example flight trajectory and normal and abort landing modes are analyzed; type of recovery tasks associated with lunar operations contemplated during next decade are outlined.
