Approach to determination of guidance computation applicable to all phases of space mission; lunar mission is considered as example; mathematical models used to obtain predicted motion or trajectories, synthesis techniques used to obtain guidance laws that give desired trajectories, and techniques for determining rate and accuracy requirements of guidance computation are shown.
