John J. Harvey, New York City fire boat, has five new Fairbanks-Morse engines each providing 660 hp at 1200 rpm; new units are hooked up to original propulsion generators and drive original pumps through new Falk gears; during fire three engines produce pumping power; other new equipment includes two auxiliary engines, two air compressors, exhaust silencers, and fuel oil centrifuge.
