Device suitable for private cars and commercial vehicles developed by Dunlop Rubber Co, and evolved from Dunlop Maxaret antiskid device for aircraft; small flywheel, rotated by each braked wheel, is decelerated along with road wheel; if wheel locks, interconnecting spring deflects and allows relative movement to take place between flywheel and its drive; this movement actuates hydraulic valve to relieve brake pressure.
