Philosophy and design of set of "explicit guidance equations" used to control ascent trajectory of radio guided ballistic missile; emphasis is on acquainting nonguidance oriented engineer with control of such re-entry parameters as flight path angle, attitude and velocity; although limited to pitch plane, discussed techniques can be applied to yaw plane.
