Findings in use of aerial color transparencies in construction materials surveys conducted by Federal Highway Projects Office, U S Bureau of Public Roads, are summarized; color transparencies at scale of 1 to 6000, in single flight strips, were taken along major road system and in other selected locations in Yellowstone National Park; photographs were taken with 6-in. focal length Pleogon lens from average flight height of 3000 ft; potential construction materials sources were annotated on transparent plastic envelopes containing aerial photographs.
