Study of 100 landing accidents discloses that stalls (with 16 accidents) are most frequent; but 14 were caused by running into soft ground, ditches, snow and similar ground obstacles; airport manager, by good housekeeping, can help prevent many of these losses; causes and extent of damage tabulated.
