Mare Island Navy Yard has developed new hot melt paint which differs widely from composition of two formulations previously developed, Italian Moravian, and Formula 15RC; due to outstanding performance during extended ship service tests, hot plastic, in modified form, is used as standard Navy composition; method of application; advantages resulting from its use.
