Illustrated description of Thornycroft control used on "Terrapin II" amphibian; air under pressure passes from compressor through unloader and check valve, via governor, regulating pressure to reservoir; from reservoir, air supply is taken to control valve in driver's cabin, from which there are two pipes, one for operating control cylinder on each main driving axle and other for supplying air under pressure to tires.
