Navy rescue tug, converted to towing barge, for Isleways, Ltd, Honolulu; built in 1945 by Levingston Shipbuilding Co; length oa 143 ft 3 in.; beam molded 33 ft; depth 17 ft 2 in.; propelled by two 12-cyl, 8 3/4-in. by 10 1/2-in. model 12-278A General Motors 2-cycle type Diesel engines, each developing 925 bhp; two electric generators, each of 605-kw, 560-v d-c, 750 rpm, supply current for main motors; each has 24-kw, 120-v generator, directly connected for excitation.
