Vessel, designed primarily to handle seagoing vessels in and about Portland, Ore, area waterfront, was built by Northwest Marine Iron Works; length oa 219 ft; breadth molded 42 ft; depth molded 9 ft; propelling machinery consists of two sets of single-cylinder horizontal, non-condensing, reversing steam engines, operating at 235 psi.
