Ski lift at old mining camp of Aspen, Colo; installation consists of two separate tramways hauling passengers on individual chairs suspended from cables, carrying them up into hills for 14,000 ft with rise of 3500 ft; upper lift incorporates bicable system used in most material trams; lower lift is monocable type using single rope for moving and supporting load.
