It is concluded that future combat craft will have performance characteristics of such nature that if man is to operate such craft, consideration of man's limitations must be made in design of craft; unless aircraft can be designed to incorporate cabin described, without prohibitive cost in performance, weight, and range, and payload, then it becomes necessary to consider seriously removal of pilot from aircraft or guided missile.
