Review of existing qualitative and quantitative human data available for engineers and life scientists to develop design and operational planning criteria for manned spacecraft systems and operations; five major goals were -- to review and evaluate existing Apollo documents on human factors and related design standards; to provide comprehensive source of human factors data applicable to Apollo mission; to assure systematic coverage of whole field; to produce system for easy storage and retrieval of human factors information; to ultimately provide statement for every critical environmental parameter regarding range of normal function, range above and below normal where performance is impaired, and tolerance limits.
