Conditions which will affect capability of supersonic aircraft to navigate safely around world center around flight phases unique to SST, acceleration, cruise and deceleration; major constraints to be dealt with are those of flight path optimization, fuel prediction and conservation, and sonic boom minimization; general navigation tasks and additional ones which include determining optimum flight path and making it good; detecting possibility of creating damaging over-pressures at ground, and of displaying correct flight path modification necessary to minimizing its effect.
