Unpainted light alloy clad subway train with rubber suspension, built by Metropolitan Cammell Carriage and Wagon Co; driving motor cars are 52 ft 2 7/8 in. overall length and trailer cars 51 ft 2 3/4 in; wheels have tread diameter of 2 ft 7 in., giving overall car height from rail of 9 ft 6 in.; each of two motors is rated 575 v, 80 hp output on 66% field.
