To provide seeing distances equal to or in excess of stopping distances, headlamps must be aimed within very close tolerances of exactly correct aim; aiming process is now improved and simplified through addition of accurately aligned aiming pads on front surface of lens which permit use of simple, mechanical aiming devices; method of aiming.
