Liquid oxygen as source of breathing oxygen in military aircraft and problems encountered; it is shown that present systems offer workable solutions and that basic shortcomings are complication and degree of reliability; schematics of typical systems; areas of improvement suggested included methods of decreasing leakage, improving filling time, and presenting oxygen quantity in more useful terms.
