Particulars of No. 3 Towing Tank, which is 300 ft long, 12 ft wide, 6 ft deep, and is designed for top speed of 60 ft per sec; primary purpose is to permit better testing, particularly of seaplane models at higher speeds with heavier displacements than had been possible heretofore, still using small size models that have been consistently adhered to.
