Proposals for unusual form of ship suited to inland waterways made by Escher Wyss; they comprise development of Swiss patent for swimming bath ship which could sail around inland waters and provide non-bathing facilities normally found at "stationary" swimming pools; main particulars of proposed ship are: length oa 250 ft; beam 72 ft; propelled by two non-reversible Diesel engines, each developing 250 bhp at 500 rpm; ancillary services; profit and loss estimates.
