Flymobile, developed by Curtis-Wright Industries of Los Angeles, carries two persons and has gross weight of 12000 lb; two rotors of 12-ft 6-in. span are mounted coaxially to rotate in opposite directions; power is supplied through 90-hp Franklin 4-cyl opposed engine; body of craft, built of steel tubing, is shaped similarly to that of small car fastened on three 16-in. by 4-in. wheels, two in front and one in rear.
